Project overview
This case study showcases the collaboration between Ponzio. Windows and the luxury French eyewear brand Anne et Valentin for their new flagship store in the heart of Soho, NYC. The client sought to create a clean, transparent, and architecturally bold storefront with uninterrupted visibility, while meeting NYC code standards and tight installation timelines.
Navigating Project Hurdles
This project involved significant logistical and technical challenges: transporting oversized glass units into Manhattan, managing sidewalk closures, coordinating craning and placement in dense urban traffic. We worked closely with the client’s GC and storefront subcontractor to synchronize delivery and installation to the hour. All materials were custom-fabricated in Poland, delivered via container, and staged for rapid deployment.
Our Tailored Solution
We provided high-performance tempered laminated IGUs with solar protection, fitted into ultra-slim thermal aluminum frames. A glass-to-glass corner connection was executed with precision-engineered silicone joints to maintain optical clarity.
